La Ruta De La Seda by Ramon PLA I think this illustration is about silk road. Because there are there are Arabic, Indian and Chinese character on it. I notice that many elephant in India is decorated really beautifully for religious ceremony. Unfortunately, most of it get very bad treatment during their daily life. by Patrick Seymour I don’t know which category should I put these artwork. I believe it’s not illustration, but paper cut-out. When the background is solid color, the artwork is amazing, the lines made it has 3D feeling on it. But when you have someone standing behind the artwork, it become more amazing. The Elephant and The Dodo by Ellen Jewett That Dodo must be very strong as it able to carry that baby elephant on it’s back. Really love the detail of this sculpture. Sad to read a lot of poachers killed elephant for its trunk lately. Hopefully it stops, so it won’t extinct like Dodo birds. Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest

Eleparade by Suzy Ultman
Tumbled on this illustration by Suzy Ultman and struck by its cuteness. What can be more cute than pink elephants on parade and spraying love sign. The pattern could be a perfect desktop wallpaper for girly themes lover. Love it, love it, love it. Elephant was found in Africa and Asia. African elephants are listed as vulnerable, while the Asian elephant is classed as endangered. Their biggest threats is the ivory trade, as the animals are poached for their ivory tusks. Other threats to wild elephants include habitat destruction and conflicts with local people. —— Follow me: Facebook | Twitter | Pinterest
