Fluffy Bat by Heather Gross • OMG. Cute overload. I always love bat but almost all artist visualized bat in very dark image. Bat drinking blood, bat and vampire, bat and skull and bones, and so on. Can they see that bat could be cute too? Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest

Cream, Milk & Butter by Brenda Creative Studio • Everytime I browse through pacakaging design website, I always thinking “oh, I’m sick with another milk packaging with cow on it”. But then, there always something new, something better designed or cuter than before. Like this packaging design. The cow is actually the brand mascot. This is totally one packaging that I will love to buy just to show it to all my friends “Look at what I found in grocery store, it’s very cute isn’t it?.” Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest

Perch Light by Umut Yamac • At first sight, this lamp look a lot like a very simple version of origami bird. But, Mr. Yamac website give some very interesting detail. It’s said it is a balancing sculptural light balanced on its metal perch, and the bird is illuminated through contact with the perch without any cables. Wow! Thinking how my bedroom floor have become a forest of cables (I blame all those gadget chargers), very nice looking design lamp without cables really intrigue me to have one.  Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest

Little Farmer by Pergamen • As designer, what you would do if your client have very limited budget for their packaging design?. I think many designers will have the same idea, create one good design and apply it on many different colors. And that’s what Pergamen do with Little Farmer’s yoghurt packaging design. Even though after I paid a close attention, I think this packaging can somewhat misleading. Take a look at that ribbon/seal, and you’ll find small cow image. I assume, Little Farmer yoghurt was made from cow’s milk, and not goat/sheep’s milk. But the main illustration could mislead and make people think this is goat/sheep’s milk yoghurt. Follow…

The Chronicles of Narnia by Ginger Monkey • Narnia won’t be Narnia without King Aslan. Aslan was so strong and charismatic, I don’t know how many dogs out there was named Aslan by their owner. No wonder he’s appear on this exclusive tin box packaging that contains audio edition of The Chronicles of Narnia. The CD packaging design itself have renaissance look with its light brown color. Sparrow by Stanislav • The tittle suggested that it is a sparrow. But for me, it’s a cute little round bird no matter what you are. The character design is really cute. Love the color too. Even though I’m a bit confused with that transparent object behind the sparrow. Is it skateboard? Considering the pirate costume concept, I think ship would be more appropriate. Now Japan 2014 by wowburo, Other Peter, Karolis Strautniekas, Džiugas Valančauskas, Sonar • This fly is a part of advertisement and animation for Now Japan 2014 in Lithuania. The concept is simple, visualize Japan cliche. Talking about cliche, I think everybody think that ninja can catch a fly using chopstick. I really love the animation. It really smooth and the fly movement is totally natural. Notice how the fly cleaning up its front legs? just like what fly usually do. Blithe and Bonny • Anything that tagged as organic or natural is huge lately. But I really love Blithe and Bonny products’s packaging design. Stated as eco-friendly, handcrafted, recycle and repurposed product on their website, the most distinctive feature of it packaging design is newspaper pattern on their label. I really don’t know if it’s really used newspaper, or they just scanned and insert newspaper pattern into their design. Still, it looks really nice and unique.
