Pari by Jemma Salume aka. Oxboxer Love between two worlds, he’s in the sky, she’s on the land. He lives between the stars, she lives between the roses. The illustration is very sweet. But it’s kinda leaves a question whether they will live happy ever after. Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest

Foxy Valentine Favors by PaperSource This is so cute. And we can make it on our own because the designer provide it as DIY project. Not really sure about it size, forgot to check it out. But since it’s for valentine, it must fit almost all mainstream valentine’s gift. A ring maybe? Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest

The Kitsune’s Wife by Shannon Knight Uh oh, I should tag this artwork as 18+. Kitsune is fox spirit in Japanese folklore, it can have human form, but mostly described as an attractive female. So, this is rare to get artwork that depicted male kitsune, that has human wife. Just wondering if the wife was geisha, because as far as I know, that red eyeliner is typical geisha makeup style. Yes by Sagmeister & Walsh I’m a huge fan of Sagmeister & Walsh design. Their creation was always intriguing, beautiful and very creative even though the medium was traditional. And the details were superb, look at the details and color gradation on the waves. I believe many cars will slow down or even stop for a while to enjoy this mural. Lesser Evils by Alex Craig Why is it called as lesser evil? which one is less evil? the human or the wolves?. I really love the way carnivore hunt. Especially wolves, because the slowly surrounded their prey in the dark. Their glowing eyes in the darkness is the only sign that they were there. Wolves are such amazing creature. Truman Capote Book Series – Hubda Pro Chameleony (Song For Chameleon) by Nikola Klimova To be honest, I haven’t read Truman Capote book before. So, I don’t know the story in this book. But I love the interpretations of its title into illustration. Two chameleons, in 90 degrees angle, with its eye as an axis. Clever. The color, the type and those tiny strokes surroundings the illustrations, make this cover book design have a vintage feeling yet modern feeling at the same time. by Patrick Seymour I don’t know which category should I put these artwork. I believe it’s not illustration, but paper cut-out. When the background is solid color, the artwork is amazing, the lines made it has 3D feeling on it. But when you have someone standing behind the artwork, it become more amazing. Le Gorille by Violaine & Jeremy My heart sunk every time I read about gorilla in newspaper. Because it almost always about another gorilla died in the hand of poachers. This illustration style was very hype lately, should I say it’s kind of hipster illustration style. But rarely illustrator take gorilla as the main character. This illustration like want to say “Gorilla, the gentle giant lives peacefully among tiny animals in the beautiful forest”. Follow me: Twitter • Facebook • Blog • Pinterest Reblog: weandthecolor
